Synthesizer hardware may go out of date, but their sounds never do - especially if we're talking about Korg's exceptional linneage of synthesizer royalty. And what could be better than taking those sounds we never tire of and adding new dimensions to them, Well, that's exactly what you get with Korg's Legacy Collection - Digital Edition. This new suite of soft synths includes a powerful version of the legendary M1 synthesizer, an updated version of the WAVESTATION adding the 6 PCM/Data option cards, and an updated version of the MDE-X plug-in effects. All synths/effects are now also RTAS compatible for use within ProTools systems.

M1 synthesizer recreation:
• Eight-part multi-timbral tone generator featuring up to 256-note polyphony.
• All of the PCM, Program, and Combination data found in the original M1.
• PCM data and Program/Combination data from all nineteen optional ROM cards.
• 2,700 preset sounds, original M1 series data can also be imported as SysEx (SYX) files.  

Updated virtual WAVESTATION:
• 6 PCM/Data option cards (virtual).
• Version 1.5 adds all of the PCM data, Patches and Performances contained in the six original optional ROM cards - more than 250 Performances, 250 Patches, 250 PCM waveforms and 150 Wave Sequences
• More than 1,400 preset sounds plus a massive collection of additional PCM waveforms and Wave Sequences.
• Able to import original WAVESTATION series data via SysEx (SYX) files.  

MDE-X Version 1.2:
• 19 high-quality effect types.
• MDE-X v1.2 comes equipped with 128 immediately useful and editable effect programs.
• Support for RTAS, VST and Audio Units plug-in formats - as well as stand alone operation.
