The San Francisco Opera approached us with a need for a world-class MS Decoding system. We designed the MSD-02 for their application; an all-discrete mid-side decoding system employing an infinitely variable width control, headphone output, and a pair of HV-3 micamps.
Later, other requests came in for a box that performed encoding as well as decoding. The MED-2 was born, but each unit is different, customized per each user’s unique needs. |
