To make the Jaleo Al-Andalus model, we used birch as the base. A wood characterized by a large sound projection that in turn provides a good balance between bass and treble.
Like the entire Elite series, the Jaleo is a premium cajon with very neat finishes. We chose the essence of maple to cover the body and the back of the instrument.
But what characterizes this professional cajon is the ziricote leaf that we apply to the front. This wood has a spectacular presence and beauty thanks to the contrasts of green, brown black and grayish colors with the yellow sapwood. This is why it is considered a precious wood that gives the cajon a noble and elegant appearance that corresponds to the high quality it brings to its sound.
As it could not be otherwise, this model is very comfortable to play for percussionists thanks to its ergonomic corners.
