AKG - ARA - Dual Capsule USB Microphone
The AKG USB Dual Capsule Microphone ARA allows podcasters, bloggers, gamers and musicians to capture professional quality, high-resolution audio. Whether broadcasting or recording, you'll capture audio at up to 24-bit, 96kHz resolution for superior speech clarity, as well as superb vocal and instrumental tracks. The two SCBA capsules allow you to focus on a single voice or instrument, or on a group of sources. Choose the Front (cardioid) directional pattern to record sound from the front without being disturbed by surrounding sounds, or use the Front + Back (omni) pattern to capture sounds all around the microphone, such as multiple speakers or a group of performers. Use ARA with its built-in base stand, on a tabletop boom or on a standard microphone stand.

The omni mode picks up sound evenly from all sides, making it ideal for capturing interviews with multiple speakers, tracking multiple singers and instruments, or recording ambient sound on location.

Recording with ARA is simple and plug-and-play. Connect it directly to your Mac, Windows PC or games console using a standard USB-C connector, to Android devices using an OTG USB adapter cable, and to iOS devices using an optional Apple camera adapter and powered USB hub. Every function you need is easily accessible, including directionality selection, a mic mute button with LED indicator and a 3.5mm headphone jack for latency-free monitoring.
